jazz hands.
Hi guys, long time no blog. Honestly, I don't really know how to keep up with all these cool websites (eg.: twitter, facebook, tumblr, etc.) But oh blogspot, since we just started the 2010, I'm gonna ponder about my life. bwhaha.
2009 was cool. A lot of nice things happened. Also a lot of not-so-good. It's all how I take things into perspective though. I mean, some bad things can actually be looked at another angle and can be considered a blessing. But there were a pretty good amount of good things that happened, so I'm actually content with you, 2009. And as of now, I feel that 2010 will be a really good year. I don't know why, I just think so. It'd suck if 2010'll bite me in the ass later on, and I'll look back to what I'm typing now and regret it. but you know, I really do have this feeling 2010 is gonna be sick. We'll see. :)
These past few days, I've been hanging out a lot with my family, who I've really missed. I actually decided to hang out solely with my family, because it was an even more special occasion that my older brother came all the way from San Diego to visit. He even got me Glee: Season 1, which I finished by the way. Way too awesome. Hell, I'm gonna make the main picture of this post of Glee. yayuh.
I also got a Blockbuster game pass, so unlimited game rentals ftw. Goodbye winter vacation, goodbye world.

solving them cases with none other.
Recently, I've dusted off my DS Lite, and I started playing my old games. I used to be crazy, head-over-heels, madly in love with my DS; and I'm talking about that old school DS: bulky, dim screen, did I mention bulky? The DS Lite is significantly sexier though, no doubt about it. But anyhoo, so, a couple of games I played includes Ouendan!!, a Japanese game about male cheerleaders that save the world using rhythm and music. Real good game, I'm seriously gonna talk about its wonders later. But the main hero of this post is none other than Phoenix Wright.
Phoenix Wright...is genius. I think it's 'cause I like the humor and how everything plays out. It's simple, mainly text on the screen and murder mysteries. That's really just it, but it's played oh-so nicely. I've played all the current games so far, the first three featuring Phoenix Wright and the latest one featuring Apollo Justice (not cool my friends. not cool). and these games are just sooo good. I really recommend this game to anyone. All of the characters are so memorable, my desktop background is a picture of the whole cast, and I always giggle looking at it. tee hee. There's no other game that makes me laugh as much as Phoenix Wright, I tell ya'. I just replayed the first game and now on my second. So yeah, that's what I've been doing the past few days, also a bit of Modern Warfare 2 and Heroes of Newerth in the mix. but yeah, I just wanted to dedicate a post about my boi Phoenix Wright. Alright, peace, love, and ice cream.

"oh, you know what I want."
I just watched 500 Days of Summer. I was familiar with the guy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 'cause I used to watch him hella hella when he was on 3rd Rock from the Sun. I love that show! and the girl, Zooey Deschanel, is from Elf and Yes Man, too! Well, I'm kinda in love with this movie. This romantic comedy wasn't really what I expected at all. I don't want to spoil anything, but that's all I can really say about it. I thought Zooey did a good job portraying the character, Summer, really well. And the humor was funny. But I must admit, this movie wasn't ALL that great, but I'm still kinda in love with it. Also, the preview showed a lot of the good jokes, which made me a sad camper. But I would still recommend this movie.
But anyways, that's not really all. After I watched the movie, I hung out with a couple of friends. We somehow ended up in Nation's, this burger joint in Westfield. It was pretttttty good. But I think I prefer good ol' In-N-Out's cheeseburgers. We then headed to Creations Dessert place, which is at Geary and 16th. I thought it was pretty okay. Any regular Asian dessert place. I got #51, which was like mango pieces and sago in mango juice. I'm not gonna lie, but that drink was reaal good. Then we jotted outta there real quick and I dropped people off home. I'm awake at 4:05 a.m., and writing another blog post. I seem to have found my new thing to do at night! Now I just need to bring my digital SLR around again to take pro pictures. :(

"you finna get clapped, man"
you know what? i'm gonna title my blog posts with sayings that are funny to me or that is in my head for the longest time.
so i don't know what's to be said right now. but I'm just gonna ramble on. I found this really sick hair gel that gives my hair a "natural" and a "wild and messy" look. and it smells like green apple. I mean, where can I go wrong? my friend told me about this little gem, and I think it's awesome! I've been owing people a lot of money. it sucks, but i'm still getting paid, so it's not that bad. the past few days have been full of weirdness, but I look at that and think that's what makes life interesting and fun. Without any weirdness, I mean, I don't know how life would be. I like those kind of spontaneous moments in life where I just decide what I want to do and actually DO IT. top of my head, I kinda want to just sit in the park and talk to someone about life and how we think of it so far. I just want to get out there. And this will arrive to one of my main points: night time. shit guys, I really think night time is where it's at. So much stuff happens at night, it's craazy. I like living in the dark, nightlife, whatever. the day has its moments, but night makes stuff more exciting. what's more exciting?: biking during the day? or the night?
anyways, enough of rambling. today, I went to Daniel's house and chilled and play some Street Fighter 4. Not much to report, but I got owned by an actual pro. haha, whatevs. Other than that, I don't really remember what I did. ahhhh, dang. but here I am, making a new post. but now I'm kinda bored of typing. alright, I'm out, peace!

it's tough
...life, that is. I got a lot of stuff to think about. Family, friends, school, whatever. but hey, I guess that's life.
too much has happened, so I'll just jot down what I remember. well, I'm getting paid, 'cause I work in my family's bakery in Vallejo. good stuff. I'm finally getting money to get stuff I think I really need: clothes. call me materialistic, I don't care. I really like to buy stuff. it's whatever, but still. I also need to get that TE arcade stick (really worth the $150?).
Summer's been going good too. I just came back from New Jersey. and I must say, White Castle is bomb. I wish we had a few of them here. But you know, honestly, I can't really tell the difference between the microwaved ones and the real ones. haha, so it's not all that bad, I guess. I also got to be in a wedding as a groomsmen. I wore a tuxedo and all that. It felt like prom. sigh, good times.
I've noticed a lot of people saying that they can't wait for college. But that's only for some people, 'cause I know some who don't want to go back to all the stress and pressure that is called "college". But as for me, I'm kind of in the between. I mean, don't get me wrong. college is great. experience after experience. But I like being laid back and doing nothing but chill. I like the feeling when I can wake up at any time I want to. I have so much free time, it's craaazy. But I also can't wait for college too. I guess it's more like something for me to do, and also for me to fix a couple of things I wish I did my first year. If anything, I wish my second year will be much much better. But I know it's only me who can make that happen.
Plus I need to turn in my clinical shit and parking permit application to USF. lol, fml.

monthly blog. that's whassup dough.
so like, kimi found my blog, and then reminded me about it today. i felt like blogging. just to dust it off a bit. you know.
so yeah, it's 4:30 a.m. right now. I'm wide awake. Doing what, you may ask? See, I should've slept at around 2:30 A.M., 'cause I was majorly sleeeepy. but then like, I got distracted by the compooter. i think that's pretty amazing. To be sleepy, and then wide awake the next. Kinda like the story of my life. I've been having some major sleeping problems. I mean, come on, blogging at 4 in the morning, now. Hence, I wake up at around 1-2 P.M. Not that much of a productive day. But anywho, I'll talk about some eventful things that I remember from the top of my head.
Waaaaaarped Tour, mahfucks.
It was the past Saturday, and I thought it was pretty fun. My cousin AJ came to my house at around 9:30 in the morning, and then we chilled at my house for awhile. Before we went to Pier 30/32 for the concert(s), we headed to Burger King, of course. Got those $1 rodeo cheeseburgers, little temptresses. And then we took awhile to find parking down on Embarcadero and Howard.
Right when we got there, we baarely made it for The Devil Wears Prada concert. pretty sick set too. Song I looked forward to (and they played! whoo) was Dez Moines. sick sick. And then after that, I met up with Lindsay to go watch Breathe Carolina. Another pretty sweet set; most memorable songs to me were Diamonds and See You Again. And then I watched Bayside! Damn, I love that band. And then after that, a little bit of 3OH!3. I thought it was worth it afterwards. But it was so mahfuckin' hot, that the whole time during the Warped Tour, I was thinking, "This isn't worth it, man. Screw the Warped Tour. I'm gonna die burning my face off." haha, but I got over it, and thought it was a very memorable experience. But afterwards, I took the longest and the most thorough shower ever. Smoke, sweaty bodies, humid don't mix too well, man.
And today, I watched Matthatter's basketball game at El Camino with Kimi and Norbie. I picked up Norbie and headed straight there. Afterwards, we ate at Denny's. duh, what else? Getting that Grand Slam. Our waiter was real impressive though, he remembered my order down to how I wanted my eggs, while also remembering 3 other peoples' orders. shoooot. Pro waiter, man. Then played some of that mahjong at Kimi's house. that was fun; I want to get better though. So many "wow, I could've won" moments. lol, but all is forgiven.
and here I am. almost 5 typing this little short story. Now to post some of them pictures that describe what happened to me since my last blog post.

sup.
long time no blog. but don't fear! here, i am. nothing's been going on really. school ended, i significantly raised my GPA, so i'm back to my confidence dealing with schoolwork.
but recent events that happened are: Fanime and Santa Cruz trip.
Fanime '09 was sick. saw so many cosplayers, and some were actually real sick. like this one Master Chief from Halo; i'll post a picture later. But it felt nice being around people with a common interest: anime, anime, and anime. it's not really a feeling i feel very often.
Santa Cruz trip was tiiiring. I was driver, and it was just me, matt, and joanne. me and matt picked up joanne, and then we were headed off! we came to surprise mine and matt's friend kimi for her 19th birthday. and then we ate at this bomb chinese buffet. shit, it was 4 star status. and for only $12. it may seem expensive, but i got my money's worth. haha.
but enough of that, i'm blogging now mainly to let out some thoughts. thoughts about one thing that's one every student's mind right now: summer. it's a time to hang out with friends without the pressure of school. but it's hard for me, since i barely have time to spend with other people. i feel that even though it is summer, i still have to juggle my life and organize my time for other people. i like my friends, and i love the time spent, it's just that it's hard to keep track. i don't know, i feel that i should be able to do it, but i don't know what i'm lacking in. and right now, i just want to give a big shout out to john uy, 'cause i always know you try hard for me to hang out with you, but i sometimes come short. but i just wanted you to know that i'm gonna try harder. i only say this right now, 'cause i know you're gonna read my blog 'cause you told me to update. alright, much love.
pz, <3, and ice cream.
