Boring days + music

Not a lot happens in my life, I guess. Or anything that I would want to post up on this blog. I'd rather tell my friends very personal stuff to them, y'know?

Lemme see, yeah, but really nothing happened. I think I just forgot anything that's cool happened. Then! I shall post about little insights about myself that I have recently discovered unknowingly.

I love music. To death. I could talk to anybody about my favorite bands, music theories, what makes a good song, etc for eternity. Like srsly, music is what makes my world go around and shine. It's those little songs that make that small moment amazing and make that moment sort of like an epiphany of some sort. Haha. I don't know, a person has to really get to know me to figure that out. I don't really look like the person that's musical. Some people have said that I looked like an artist, or something. I lol'd.

But music. Hmm. To first start it out, I listen to many different genres, believe it or not. It doesn't matter the style, if it's good, it's good. I do have a favorite genre, though: (Acoustic) Rock. I mean, wow, the things that people put put (Dallas Green, the Spill Canvas, etc). It's those little acoustic riffs or whatever. I also love trying to tab it out by ear, something I have began to do recently. Cool stuff. Current song I'm listening to: "Remember to Breathe" by Dashboard Confessional.

And oh yeah, another thing. I ABSOLUTELY hate it when a person chooses solely underground music, just because it is, in fact, underground. I'm down with mainstream and underground, may it be underground rap or rock, whatevs. It's still music. I used to be one these people, and now it just disgusts me. A reason that certain artists have reached the mainstream peak is because they're actually good. I can think of one good example, John Mayer. Voice is angelic, and the music is just really cool. He was one of my first influences. oh man.

That's enough of my ranting, I'm done. 'Til next time!

mashing means is like short for smashing i guess. Mash is a fixie bike team, and iono, my friends that bike really hard and fast without breaks called it mashing instead of biking, so i kinda picked up on it. lol.
