plans

I got a lot of stuff happening so fast. I'm going up to San Jose tomorrow, presentation for Microbiology class, and then the most major of them all, Los Angeles trip next thursday. I'm pretty stoked. Plus, I pulled out the SLR camera for all those raw pictures again. holluh.

Today, I just had lunch with John at King of Thai's. Got that #33, good stuff. The rest of the day, I felt like crap though. Sleeping at 4 is a no-go for next time. :( But I had a good reason! I watched the season finale of Chuck! And oh em geeee, it was probably one of the best episodes on television ever. I'm left wanting much much more, and I hope it doesn't get cancelled, as some rumors say. And now I'm watching 1% of Anything, this korean drama my dad suggested. I know, right? your dad suggessting something. oh well.

As to why I'm going to San Jose, I figure, why not? I like doing these random trips.

PS. I'm on cloud nine right now. :)

tee hee, just cause.

public speaking

I got a speech tomorrow. I'm supposed to be persuading people to my kind of thinking. I've decided to do it on legalizing gay marriage, a very controversial topic in this day and age. I'll be talking about people to accept it. I think I got some good shit; I wrote an essay about gay marriage, and I actually got this girl to accept it and think I'm right. lolwut?

I need to get some more clothes. sigh. plaid shirts just won't cut it anymore. I'm planning to go to Haight tomorrow and hit up True and Stussy to get a tee. Prepping for those hot days to come! :] which I'm really excited about, by the way. I love the hot weather, it just feels so natural to me. Cold days make me feel like shit and want to kill myself.

And I think my family wants to kill me. I opened the fridge, and then I see five tubs of ice cream. I'm probably gonna die in about a year or so.

I still have to work, so I'm done. deep talk later, ja?

PS: my student picture ID is TOTALLY faded. :(

studying studying studying.

I haven't posted in awhile. so I'm just do a real quick update.

I've been feeling a whole lot better overall. no more emo kid in the corner. that's what's up. I feel like things are looking up for me, school-wise and relationships-wise. Balancing it out is still no easy task, but I'm a trooper, so I think I can handle it. My latest obsession: Korean dramas. Wtf man? I didn't think I'd see the day. I've finished watching Coffee Prince, and I'm not gonna lie, I cried a bit. It just totally got to me. And now I'm watching Soulmate, which is pretty good in its own right. However, I recommend Coffee Prince. I believe there's this underlying message that I should get across, but it's just way too deep for people to get if they haven't watched it. So go. watch. cry. :)

I got a midterm in about 4 hours. I'm really chill about it. I feel like I got everything down. But I want to stay up late. I don't think it's a good idea, since I have to drive tomorrow, but I just can't sleep. I plan to sleep at my friend's house. I also want to bring my digital SLR again for those sunny days. Capturing beauty is one thing, but showing its true beauty is something I plan to do. Anyways, I don't have any cool-ass pictures, but here's a picture of myself right now as I write at 4:42 a.m. tee hee. :D

WDYWT: Levi's 511's, Plaid shirt, H&M sweater, Van's Sk8.

nah, i'm just kidding. I don't wear good enough shit to post about. I just want to pretend I'm cool in this one post.

Wonderful night.

So like, I haven't blogged close to two months. Actually, it'll be two months in one more day. but hah! Too bad I have something to say!

Things have been good. I've been getting back to guitar a lot. I want to experience that feeling of awe when I play the guitar again. The feeling where I just can't stop playing and I'm amazed what kind of things I can do with a guitar. I also want to vary my styles too now, 'cause now I really want to try out metal music and ukulele songs too. So I don't know where to start.

Last weekend, I went to a concert in Orange County that featured a pop group in South Korea, Wonder Girls. Honestly, I bought the tickets without that much knowledge of their songs, but once I started to indulge myself into their music, I'm starting to really like them. And that also opened up a liking towards Korean culture. But about the concert, I really enjoyed it. It felt really intimate just seeing them interact with each other while they were on stage. It was prettty cute. Plus So Hee was there. We were also seated fourth row, so I was pretty darn close too. I almost touched them, man! But crazy fans pushed me out of the way. Shiiiiet.

We also visited UC Irvine. I really liked their campus. Also making me thinking to try to transfer. My friend who visited with me is actually really trying to transfer now, 'cause of how cool the school was. Haha, but this weekend was pretty chill. And for now, here's pictures of Wonder Girls. :)

YES! YES! A MILLION TIMES YES!

Yes! I've watched Yes Man yesterday. I'm gonna review/contemplate about this movie now. In a nutshell, it's about a man who vowed to always say yes to everything. There's something about how it will open up more opportunities and if you just say no or avoid something all together, you will get some kind of negative karma. There is some truth in this. I've always wondered what would happen if I said yes to everything; there can be some kind of good consequence, but hey, if I said no, how would I ever know, right? Now, I strive to make opportunities happen to me now. I don't really want to live life like a routine; I like spontaneity sometimes in my life. I mean, who doesn't?

The movie, overall, is a hit or miss. It's either you like the comedy or you don't. But it does leave the watchers thinking though. Seriously, how different my life would be if I said YES to everything? but yeah, I would recommend it to Jim Carrey fans. And oh! One thing that bothered me somewhat was that Jim Carrey was pretty old compared to his friends and main girl! I was like...wow, so sad. But yeah, I liked the movie. Byah! 'Til next time. And here's a couple of pictures from the other day since I don't have any from the movies yesterday. D:

Winter Break Madness

Oh shit. I'm still on break. 'Til January 26!!! WTF! It's happening again, though. Everyone's leaving to their UCs and shit. Shiiiiiet. It's cool though, anyways, I'll blog about my past couple of weeks and whatnot.

Alright, actually, naah, I won't. It's pretty boring. lol. I'll blog about probably the big highlight of the break so far. It was the winter bash. Yeah! Fuck Christmas and New Years! It was fun, a lot of college freshman in a house with no parents. Of course it'd be fun! A lot of people were m.i.a. though, but I partied twice as hard for each person. x) All the pictures of me however are quite embarrassing, so no pictures for today! I'm just gonna post pictures of Christmas and New Years. (Fuck those holidays still! YEAH!!!) One thing I also remember quite well was that I practically gave up walking. I would just dance to places. I would moonwalk, line dance, cha-cha, rick-roll, whatever I wanted to do at the time. And that explains all my bruises and how sore my back was.

Ok, I still two and half weeks of break. I'm bored out of my mind. I have resorted to playing video games. tee hee. But hey, it's all good. I got the Blockbuster pass, so it's gonna be a movie madness at my house!!! byah!!

Whazzzup?!?

Last post, I said I would've gotten a B- on my Philosophy of Religion midterm. But byah, I got an A. The professor was flattering me and shit, and I lol'd in my mind, cause basically, I just remembered a lot of the arguments from other philosophers. Oh well, it all turned out for the good!! :]

I've recently been exposed to the urban wear scene. I like it so far, just really costly. I've seen hoodies costing around $100 just for this teeny, tiny, little patch of the "Adam" bomb. Haha, but yeah, I bought it for $20, 'cause of The Hundreds Warehouse sale. :] And since my last post, I've been playing around with a Canon EOS 20d SLR camera. Hella pro shit, but not as pro as other cameras, but I like it. I'm right now playing around with shutter speeds and aperatures and manual focus and al that good stuff. I'll post a couple of pictures.

But yeah, all in all, my life has been pretty swell. I have to study for an Anatomy practical tomorrow, so 'til next time! In the mean time, here are pictures. ;)

The number 5, my second home.
