Whazzzup?!?

Last post, I said I would've gotten a B- on my Philosophy of Religion midterm. But byah, I got an A. The professor was flattering me and shit, and I lol'd in my mind, cause basically, I just remembered a lot of the arguments from other philosophers. Oh well, it all turned out for the good!! :]

I've recently been exposed to the urban wear scene. I like it so far, just really costly. I've seen hoodies costing around $100 just for this teeny, tiny, little patch of the "Adam" bomb. Haha, but yeah, I bought it for $20, 'cause of The Hundreds Warehouse sale. :] And since my last post, I've been playing around with a Canon EOS 20d SLR camera. Hella pro shit, but not as pro as other cameras, but I like it. I'm right now playing around with shutter speeds and aperatures and manual focus and al that good stuff. I'll post a couple of pictures.

But yeah, all in all, my life has been pretty swell. I have to study for an Anatomy practical tomorrow, so 'til next time! In the mean time, here are pictures. ;)

I'm on a roll.

I'm on a roll with two consecutive posts! holla.

I just B-'d my Philosophy midterm. awww yeah! It was easy kinda. I just didn't know a lot about the material, cause philosophy of religion just goes straight past my head. but I'm pretty much stress free, except for my anatomy test this friday. lol.

But man, I always dreamed of making this super cool YouTube video-making group. It's been my dream since I was very little (granted, YouTube didn't exist back then, but w/e!). I'm studying the cinematography of people who've already made a name for themselves. It's some pretty interesting stuff. I'd have fun editing and/or filming. Either way, making a movie is so fun, 'cause it's like a little collaboration where everyone and anyone can input in their ideas and stuff, so it's like...everyone's movie, not one single person.

As mush as I like blogging and all, I have to go to study sessions today. yee yee!

sick weekend.

I just came back from a weekend in San Jose. it was pretty chill. me , marc, and norbie chilled at marc's house and procrastinated to go to caltrain station in millbrae. haha. marc's dad took us to the caltrain station, and then me and marc went to the corner of an empty station. we made out (watched detective conan on my laptop). lol, well, we're sure the attendant thought we made out, cause he was giving us that 'oh my' look.

we then went to law's apartment and matt slept over too. it was just chill. played games, food, and youtube. that's basically it. and i totally forgot about my midterm this friday, but oh well. we also visited san jose state university and visited other people. I'm starting to get into that Drum Mania thing though. it's just money spending that I don't like. I'll stick to rock band drums. I really liked the weather and the campus overall. Very open and nice. I could see some resemblance in USF's campus, just like...super smaller. personally, I like the big campus feel, cause I feel like I could do just about anything.

We also watched Wong Fu Productions into the night. We have so many dreams to be great youtube people. haha. I really like that idea, cause I like making movies/editing movies. It'll be fun if we ever pursue it. I'm sure we'd do osm thogh.

Me and marc got home and it was sort of a reality check. san jose was sort of a escape from reality. it was like, 'wow. i totally forgot i have school tomorrow'. but oh well. I got midterms coming up and studying. if I do really well, then that means going to so-cal by plane! yee yee!

fuck yeah.

Nothing eventful for the past week. Anatomy is still kicking my ass though. I've been doing well in my other classes. I'm procrastinating though, more or less. I've been trying to get into that Rock Band drums movement, haha. awww yeah. I just hope it doesn't really interfere with my studies. I think I'm straddling the line between normal person and really nerdy person though.

I'm also planning to visit San Jose. but my plans are already starting to fall through. man, I'm getting writer's block right now. update later, fa sho. I gotta get back to my 6 page essay!

One thing that I have successfully learned to do: laugh it off.

Good Days

Hello, readers of this blog! As of now, I'm on the fence about college. It's getting better though. I'm making a good amount of friends now and I'm putting myself out there. I used to be all about being reserved, thus basically blending in with the environment. That was stupid. Now, though, I'm being more out there and making new friends in the process. I still miss my really close friends though [sad music], 'cause sometimes I feel that I can't really be myself yet.

But hey, it's getting better. I'm still thinking whether or not I should transfer, but I guess I'm still applying. I'm making a pros and cons list though, just to find a much deeper reason why I want to transfer so much. Hah, but oh well. Anyways, I got owned really, really, really bad in my Anatomy midterm. And I really need to get my act together and study. For now, I still have the time to blog. haha, aww yeah.

I don't really have that much to update. So, I guess that's it for now. 'Til next time!

Summer half-done

It is July 19, 2008 at around 9:00 in the morning. I reckon summer has been half-done for me for a long time. USF begins August 23, which just makes me sad. Time has crept up behind me and slowly became out of reach for me. Time doesn't wait for anyone, and I've learned it the hard way. I have so much things going on for me, such as college and people. I sort of lost a sense of time when my mind is on so many other issues.

Since my last post, I have taken two APs, and I failed them both. I knew I was going to get the scores I get, and I would like to make an apology to my parents for wasting their money. haha. I graduated. I had a taste of what University of San Francisco is going to be for me. I also embarked on a new journey. [oh snap. so vague. sup.] I did stuff with friends. And now, I started playing Final Fantasy 10 again. I also had a little rendezvous with my Dreamcast. Playing all these games makes me feel like I'm back in freshman year or something. The Dreamcast especially makes me feel old! But yup, that's what I did since my last post in a nutshell.

A lot of stuff goes through my mind. One example is how can I get through college when I still use words such as 'things' and 'stuff'. haha. Hopefully, my vocabulary will expand enough for me not to resort to those words in essays...and now I completely forgot what's been on my mind. I guess edit later, or new post later. 'Til next time!
